How to check the vehicles registered in your name on e-Devlet
With the Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama service on e-Devlet you can see how many vehicles are registered in your name, whether the transfer of a car you sold went through, and whether a vehicle has been registered in your name without your knowledge. Here is how to find the service, which login methods work, how to query for a company, a child or a deceased relative, and what to do if a vehicle you do not recognise shows up.

You do not need to visit a traffic registration office or a notary to find out which vehicles are registered in your name; the Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama (vehicles registered in my name) service of the Union of Turkish Notaries on the e-Devlet Gateway shows the list in a few minutes. The check is useful to confirm that a car you sold has really been transferred out of your name, to understand where an unexpected motor vehicle tax or fine comes from, and to make sure no vehicle has been registered with your identity details without your knowledge.
In this guide we show how to find the service on e-Devlet, which login methods you can use, how to read the result, and how to check the vehicles registered to a company, your child or a relative whose heir you are.

🧰 What you need
- Your Turkish ID number (T.C. kimlik numarası)
- Your e-Devlet password, or the option to log in with a mobile signature, an electronic signature, a chip ID card or internet banking
- A computer or phone with internet access
- Authority to represent the company, if you are checking on its behalf
Steps
- Go to the e-Devlet GatewayType turkiye.gov.tr in your browser's address bar and open the page. Make sure the address is correct; do not reach e-Devlet through a link from another site. Select Giriş Yap (Log in) at the top right.
- Verify your identityOn the login screen, enter your Turkish ID number and e-Devlet password. If you have no password, you can use one of the other options on the same screen: mobile signature, electronic signature, chip Turkish ID card or internet banking; this service accepts all five login methods. Logging in with your ID card requires an NFC phone or a card reader.
- Find the service with the search boxType Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama in the search box at the top of the page. Four services with this name appear in the results; for vehicles registered to you, select the Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama whose institution is Türkiye Noterler Birliği (Union of Turkish Notaries) and which has no extra note at the end of its name. Instead of searching, you can also select the Union of Turkish Notaries in the Kurumlar (Institutions) list and open the service there.
- Review the list of vehicles registered to youWhen the service opens, the vehicles registered in your name are listed with their plates and the record details that help you identify each one. Check one by one that every vehicle on the list is yours. If no vehicle is listed, there is none registered in your name. To keep the result, save the page as a PDF with your browser's print option.
- If a car you sold is still listed, contact the notary who handled the saleVehicle sales and transfers in Türkiye are done at a notary; once the sale is complete, the vehicle leaves your record. If a car you sold still appears, find your sales contract and ask the notary office that handled it why the transfer was not completed. Until the transfer goes through, taxes and fines for that vehicle may keep being issued in your name.
- If a vehicle you do not recognise appears, act at onceIf you see a vehicle you never bought, keep a screenshot or the PDF. Apply to a notary office or traffic registration unit to report it and find out where the registration was made. If you suspect your identity details have been misused, file a criminal complaint with the public prosecutor's office (Cumhuriyet başsavcılığı); you do this in person or by petition at the prosecutor's office, not through e-Devlet.
- Check the vehicles registered to your companyFor vehicles registered to a company, open the Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama (Tüzel Kişi) service in the search results. This query is made with the own e-Devlet login of a person authorised to represent the company; without that authority, the service will not show you the company record.
- Check the vehicles of your child or of a person whose heir you areFor vehicles registered to your child, open Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama (Çocuğunuz Adına); for the vehicles of a relative who has died, open Adıma Tescilli Araç Sorgulama (Mirasçısı Olduğunuz Kişi Adına). The second one lets you see whether your relative owned any vehicles before inheritance and estate procedures. Both services work with your own e-Devlet login.
