New: Table Games in the Chat, Community Layout and More

Board and card games now live inside Yudum chat. Sit at the same table with your friends and, if you like, talk by voice while you play. The new Community layout is live too.

🎲 Table games

• 101 Okey, Backgammon, Checkers, Mangala and Pişti can be played both on the site and inside the chat.
• Play now: press Find opponent on a game page and we'll match you with someone. To play with a friend, use Create table; a table can be open to everyone, protected with a code, or limited to your friends.
• Voice table: tick Voice table when creating a table and a private voice room opens for that table's players only. It closes by itself when the game ends.
• Talk to your partner: in 101 Okey, the Partner option next to the message box sends a message only your partner can see.
• Rankings: weekly and monthly leaderboards for every game on its page.

💬 Where to find it in the chat

• Turn on the Community layout: in the chat open Settings › Appearance › Layout › Community. Channels are grouped by category on the left, you see who is online on the right, and the voice panel sits at the bottom. Don't like it? Switch back to Classic in the same place.
• Getting to the games: click a game's name in the OYUN (games) section of the left menu, or open Discover › Games at the top. You can hop over to a chat channel mid-game; the Back to your table button in the corner takes you back and tells you when it's your turn.
• Voice and video: join the voice room in #sesli; camera and screen sharing are in the same panel. More: Voice and video chat.
• Right-click: right-click a user's name for their profile, private message, add friend and follow; right-click a channel for channel actions.

🎉 Fun bot

• Our Turkish main channel #sohbet has a new fun bot: jokes, horoscopes, riddles, and commands like !sev (pat), !tokat (slap) and !sarıl (hug). Type !eglence there for the full list. Chat more, earn points and ranks.

🔒 Safer

The site and the chat went through a full security review and the issues found were fixed. Nicknames and channel names can no longer contain < > " ' characters; Turkish letters, classic IRC characters and emoji are still allowed.
