What is SocialServ?
SocialServ is the IRC-side face of the social features on the site. Everything you do with a button on the site — posting, liking, following, groups — you can also do from mIRC, HexChat or any other client. There is one set of data: a post you make with a command shows up on the site as well.
Both spellings work:
/ss <command>
/msg SosyalServ <command>
You can read the help from inside chat too:
/ss HELP — command list
/ss HELP FOLLOW — detail for one command
Posting
POST [#group] <message> — post (to your profile if no group is given)
COMMENT <id> <comment> — comment on a post
LIKE <id> — like it (repeat to take the like back)
FEED [page] — your following feed
TOP — most liked
You find a post's number (id) in the FEED output, or in the post's
address on the site (/gonderi/42).
For example:
/ss POST The weather is lovely today!
/ss POST #grup-muzik The new album is out
/ss COMMENT 42 Agreed!
/ss LIKE 42
Following
FOLLOW <nick> — follow
UNFOLLOW <nick> — unfollow
FOLLOWERS [nick] — followers (your own if no nick is given)
FOLLOWING [nick] — who they follow
INFO [nick] — profile summary
Following is one-way; friendship is a separate thing — see Friends & following.
Groups
GROUP CREATE <name> — create a group (you become the founder)
GROUP INFO #grup-<name> — group information
GROUP LIST — active groups
GROUP SET #grup-<name> <field> <value>
GROUP DELETE #grup-<name> — delete the group (founder only)

INVITE #grup-<name> <nick> — invite

GROUP SET fields:
join→open(anyone joins) ·apply(by application) ·invite(invitation only)gizlilik(visibility) →acik(open) ·gizli(private)ad→ the group's display name
⚠ The field names themselves stay in Turkish — they are literal command parameters, not text to translate.
A newly created group becomes fully active once it passes the member threshold (5 by default).
Turkish aliases
The commands can also be written in Turkish — both forms do the same thing:
TAKIP · BIRAK · TAKIPCILER · TAKIPTE · PAYLAS · YORUM · BEGEN
AKIS · ENCOK · GRUP · BASVUR · DAVET · ONAYLA · REDDET · BEKLEYEN
LISTE · BILGI · KUR · SIL · AYAR
For example, /ss TAKIP deniz is the same as /ss FOLLOW deniz.
