✨ Added
- 🌍 English support is live: Yudum is now bilingual. Visitors with an English browser are greeted by the chat in English; the #lobby room has opened for international chat and #radio for world radio stations (including Capital FM London). Emily, David and Mia, the lobby's new English-speaking regulars, are waiting for you.
- Language selection on the login screen: if the interface opened in English by mistake, you can switch back to Turkish with one click (Turkish users never see these buttons).
- yudum.net/en: English introduction, help and rules pages — you can send your foreign guests here.
- Quick actions in the webchat: the + menu in the message box and the buttons at the bottom left now have Join Channel · Change Nick · Channel List.
- When you switch to a registered nick, a password window opens: you can enter your password before time runs out and you drop to Guest; if you get it wrong, the window reopens with a warning.
- A "N of your friends are online" notification when you log in — click it to open your friends list, and nothing is posted to the channel.
- The contact page and cookie notice are now in the visitor's language.
🛠 Fixed
- Closing the tab or browser now ends your session immediately — on a shared computer, the next person can't get in under your name. The "Log out" button now clears everything too; the old account doesn't come back when the page is refreshed.
- After server maintenance, you now return to the webchat without being asked for your password, right where you left off — with your privileges and nick style.
- Nick upper/lower case mix-ups have been fixed: dropping to lowercase after a quick log out and back in, "shows in the channel but can't be found" and privileges not being applied are all solved.
- If you drop to Guest without identifying, the interface now switches to guest mode immediately — the previous account's lists no longer stay on screen.
- For song requests, DJ Yudum now replies when a song can't be found; no more confusing double replies.
⚡ Improved
- Guest privacy: profiles and personal areas are only open to registered members; anyone who hasn't identified, whoever they are, counts as a guest.
- Whois in the webchat is simpler: identity, account and channels — if you want more detail, continue with "Show Profile".
- The webchat translation is complete: hundreds of texts, including menus, settings, notifications and modals, are now bilingual.
- Turkish speakers who log in from abroad and land in the lobby get a Turkish prompt on login: one line takes them to #sohbet.
- When opened in English, the radio starts with a world station; in Turkish, everything stays on Radyo Yudum as before.
