August 21–22, 2026 update

A summary of two days: the on-site message box has been rewritten from scratch, and you can now make voice/video calls too. Below, we first explain how the message box works, followed by the other changes.

💬 The message box has been rewritten

The old box was only good for sending and receiving messages. The new one brings everything into one window: your conversations, your friends list, the feed and statuses — all in the same place. Without leaving the page, without interrupting whatever you're listening to.

Where do I open it? From the message icon in the top menu. It no longer opens only on the home page but on every page of the site — it stays by your side on radio, movie, news and game pages too. If you have unread messages, the count shows on top of the icon.

Four tabs:

• 💬 Chat — your conversations. This tab opens directly every time you open the box, so you can start typing right away.
• 👥 Friends — your friends list. Just tap a name and the conversation opens.
• 📰 Feed — posts from your friends and the people you follow, right inside the box. No need to go to another page to read them.
• 🟢 Status — only the statuses of your friends and the people you follow.

Deleting messages. A long-requested feature is here, with two options:

• Delete for me — the message disappears only for you; it stays on the other side.
• Delete for everyone — it's removed from both sides, and a note says the message was deleted.

You can also clear an entire conversation in one go.

While typing. You're no longer limited to plain text:

• You can send 📎 images and videos; what you send shows up inside the conversation, not as an address. Tap an image to open it at full size.
• The 🙂 Emoji button gives you emoji on desktop too (on your phone, your keyboard already has them).
• Links are clickable — an address you share is now a link, not plain text.

Read receipts. When the other person reads your message, it gets marked. If they're not in the chat but are on the site, your message still reaches them; the “not in the chat right now” warning no longer repeats on every single message.

📞 Voice and video calls

You can call without leaving the message box. Of the icons at the top of the conversation, one starts a voice call and the other a video call.

• The caller sees a call screen, and the person being called gets a notification with a ringtone and vibration; accept or decline.
• During a call, you can mute your microphone, turn off your camera and, on a phone, switch between front and back cameras.
• Calls only work between friends. Someone who isn't on your list can't call you — this isn't a setting, it was built that way from the start.
• Your browser asks for microphone/camera permission the first time. If permission isn't given, the call won't start.
• People connected to the chat with a program like mIRC can't be called — those programs don't support voice/video calls. If you try to call someone like that, you'll be told; your text messages still reach them as usual, nothing changes there.

Since this is a new feature, there may be some rough edges; if you run into a problem, let us know.

📱 Mobile

The message box no longer gets squeezed at the bottom of the screen and half-hidden; it opens full screen. On narrow screens, tab names turn into icons so all four fit. The top menu disappearing when you pull the page down has also been fixed.

✨ Added

• Advertise page: a separate page for advertising or sponsorship on the site has been added — what we offer, which spaces are available and how to get in touch are all there.
• All English country and city chat pages now have their own text; now each page talks about its own topic.

🛠 Fixed

• Nickname and privileges when joining the chat: after logging in, your nickname didn't look the way you typed it, and your channel privileges weren't applied. Fixed.
• The chat not scrolling to the bottom after sending a photo or animated image.
• Missing plot texts for movies and TV series — hundreds of pages have been completed.
• Photos without descriptions: hovering over them now shows who they are, and they're now readable for people using screen readers too.
• Some pages (Radyo Yudum, game pages) only loading halfway.
• An address redirect loop in the English chat section.

⚡ Improved

• Messages now reach the other person noticeably faster.
• Hidden promotional/advertorial posts are kept out of the news feed.
• The mobile layout has been reworked — this time based on measurements, not guesswork.
