Settings: What's There and How to Change It

Where are the settings?

• WebChat: ⚙ at the bottom left, the tabs on your profile page, or /settings. Straight to a section: /settings account, /settings privacy, /settings notifications.
• Site: /ayarlar.

Settings belong to your one account: what you change on the site applies in chat and the other way round.

Sections in WebChat

• 🪪 Profile — avatar (upload or pick one) and profile details: name, about, location, age, website, team, accounts such as Discord/GitHub. A field you leave empty is cleared.
• 🔐 Account — email (current password + confirmation link to the new address), password change, Forgot password, language of service messages, auto-join your groups on sign-in, deleting your account.
• 🔒 Privacy — who can message you and who can call you (everyone / friends only), people you blocked, showing your email and age on your profile, asking for your password when entering chat, sign out everywhere.
• 👥 Social — My friends (incoming/outgoing requests, search), Following, My groups (create and leave), AFK.
• 🎨 Appearance — layout (Community / Classic), text size, compact lines, message time, avatars in messages.
• 💬 Chat — join/leave messages, system messages, media previews, the "typing…" indicator.
• 🔔 Notifications — desktop notifications, sound, only when your name is mentioned, ask when a friend comes online; which events notify you (messages, comments, likes, follows, friendships, your team's match…), news categories and quiet hours.
• 📻 Media — radio autoplay, hiding your IP address in calls.
• ✨ Showcase — the boxes in the left column (latest news, horoscope of the day, announcements…), the scrolling social strip, the status strip and the radio bar.

Saving

On/off settings save immediately. In sections with a form (profile, email, password, notification types) press Save; the result is shown on screen, and if something is wrong the reason is given.

Guests

Guests can change appearance and chat settings for their own browser; account settings are for members. The community layout is for members too.
