The services of the Yudum chat network: nickname and account, channels, messages and social features. You can give any command in three ways — they all do the same thing:

/register … · /ns register … · /msg NickServ register …

👤 NickServ

Nickname and account: registration, sign-in, password and profile. Shortcut: /ns

REGISTER — register your nickname
/ns REGISTER <password> [e-mail]
Example: /ns REGISTER Kestane8Yaprak [email protected]

Registers the nickname you are currently using and identifies you. After that the nickname is yours. The password must be 8–32 characters and not a common one.

IDENTIFY — sign in
/ns IDENTIFY [nick] <password>
Example: /ns IDENTIFY Kestane8Yaprak

Signs you in to your registered nickname (/ns ID works too).

SETPASS — change your password
/ns SETPASS <old password> <new password>

Changes your account password; you must be signed in first. There is no SET PASSWORD command.

SET — account settings
/ns SET <option> <value>
Example: /ns SET email [email protected] · /ns SET language en

Options include email, url, language, ajoin, showemail, protect and secure.

/ns RECOVER <nick> <password>

Disconnects someone else who is using your registered nickname.

AVATAR — set your avatar
/ns AVATAR <url>

Sets the picture shown on your profile and in chat.

DROP — delete the registration
/ns DROP <nick>

⚠ Cannot be undone. Channels you founded are left without an owner.

💬 ChanServ

Channel registration and management. Shortcut: /cs

REGISTER — register a channel
/cs REGISTER <#channel> <password> [description]

You become the founder; settings and privileges survive when you leave.

Example: /cs ACL #sohbet

Shows who holds which level. ⚠ The command is ACL — there is no ACCESS command.

Anyone matching the mask is removed from the channel automatically.
